"Nation of Artisans" is a brand and media project founded by Louis Elton with the goal of reviving British manufacturing and celebrating craftsmanship. A call was made for concepts which asked for logo systems to celebrate both the heritage and future of British artisanal making.

Solution
A bold and distinguished logo mark steeped in symbolism and British heritage, but with a firm ode to the future. A logo contained within in oak leaves - arranged like rays of a rising sun, representing both connection to British nature and new, exciting beginnings. A rope rosette forms a secondary containment element below - alluding to British making and luxury brand monograms. Within, a distinguished pink and royal blue lion stands guard, holding a paintbrush with bristles shaped like a torch flame: the perfect embodyment of British eccentricity and heritage-futurism.
